Beauty Tips by the Moon

There are a lot of beauty tips on the Internet, but when we add in the Moon's influence, we often find a bit of an edge in our trips to the spa, gym or beauty salon.

Want to Lose Weight? Then initiate the activities while the Moon is in the 3rd or 4th quarters (aka waning phases) and the Moon is in the zodiac sign of Virgo for the best results.

Needing Cosmetic Surgery? Try to avoid dates when the Moon is in a harsh aspect to Mars, Saturn or the Sun. You are likely to notice the best results when the Moon is in the 1st or 2nd quarters between the New Moon and Full Moon (not on a New or Full Moon). Additionally, avoid any dates when the Moon is in your individual Sun (Solar) sign.

Perhaps one of the most often asked question, when is the best time to get Hair Treatments? Hair dyes and chemical treatments of hair typically have the best results when the Moon is in Taurus or Leo while making a favorable aspect to Venus or your personal Sun Sign. Skip appointments on dates when Moon is making a difficult aspect to Mars. Cutting hair for the sake of "appearance" is promoted when the Moon is in Gemini, Taurus, Sagittarius, Capricorn or Pisces. If the Moon is making a favorable aspect to Venus, the outcome is likely to be even better. For faster growth, cutting hair when the Moon is in the 1st or 2nd quarter and in the signs of Cancer or Pisces is suggested. The promise of thicker hair growth suggests that hair be cut when the Moon is Full and in the signs of Taurus, Cancer or Leo. For those of you who want your hair to grow more slowly after a cut, then try cutting your hair while the Moon is in the 3rd or 4th quarters and in the signs or Aries, Gemini or Virgo. Additionally, hair cut while the Moon is square or opposing Saturn (direct motion, not retrograde) is supposed to "restrict" growth.

Buy beauty products while the Moon is in the 3rd quarter and in the signs of Taurus, Virgo, Sagittarius or Pisces. Trips to the spa or for a massage is recommended on dates that the Moon is in Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Libra or Aquarius. Again, as with almost all beautification events, positive aspects to Venus from the Moon enhances the outcome.

Try these dates out, while keeping of journal of the results to see for yourself whether the suggestions work.

Personal Power Dates

One of the features/calendars that Moon Tracks provides is the Personal Power Days updated each month. These charts show the best days for each solar sign to act in relation to the Moon's transits. This chart also reveals the days that a particular solar sign is less likely have be "on target" giving clues as to which dates are best for pushing forward on a project and which days to hold back a bit.

The only section of the site that is not complete is the list of old (expired) calendars to be transferred over from Lunar Living. All the other calendars and pages are completed and updated.
